Associate Manager, Restaurant Experience – Testing & Execution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation of new products, processes, and operational initiatives at Baskin-Robbins locations.

• Identify operational deficiencies, risks, and complexities; escalate issues with actionable recommendations.

• Collect feedback and ensure that operational insights are integrated into rollout strategies and execution guidance.

• Aid in the Innovation to Market (ITM) process from conceptualization to operational transition.

• Support the testing and validation of new menu items, smallwares, equipment, and cake operations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee that solutions adhere to operational guidelines and existing workflows.

• Assist in the planning and execution of lab testing, in-shop trials, and operational validation for products, packaging, equipment, and process modifications.

• Capture and document insights from tests, including operational complexities, execution steps, speed, equipment requirements, and training implications.

• Aid in the formulation of clear recommendations (proceed, refine, or halt) based on operational feasibility.

• Develop and maintain job aids, test summaries, and operational guides to facilitate execution.

• Assist in creating launch readiness materials to ensure timely execution in shops.

• Verify that documentation aligns with current brand standards and operational guidelines.

• Collaborate with Operations, Field Teams, Franchisees, Culinary, Category Management, Supply Chain, Training, Marketing, and other stakeholders.

• Support initiatives related to Guest Experience, CMX, training content, and execution enhancement.

• Coordinate with system and digital teams to ensure comprehensive restaurant readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in restaurant operations.

• 2–5 years of experience in restaurant operations, field support, training, testing, or operations services roles.

• Experience in a franchise-based environment is preferred.

• Willingness and ability to travel for in-shop testing and execution support.

• Strong operational mindset focused on execution and scalability.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions with franchisees, field teams, vendors, and internal partners.

• Cake decorating skills are advantageous, but not mandatory.
