Associate Manager, New Verticals Strategy – Operations, Merchant Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee essential workflows related to merchant fees, billing, payouts, and tax application for U.S. Enterprise New Verticals merchants.

• Take ownership of the Merchant Finance Product Roadmap, serving as the Product Operations partner.

• Design and enhance processes and products to address and resolve payment, invoicing, and tax challenges.

• Assist in product development from inception to launch, including business cases and success metrics.

• Develop and uphold comprehensive internal documentation and communication strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in strategy and operations, business operations, consulting, product operations, or comparable analytical roles.

• Proficient in financial concepts such as pricing, fees, discounts, taxes, and payouts.

• Capable of structuring ambiguous merchant or payment challenges and executing clear plans for resolution.

• Experience working with data (e.g., spreadsheets or SQL).

• Strong communication skills, both in writing and during meetings.

• Proven experience in leading and influencing multiple teams and senior leadership.
