Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Supervise healthcare management personnel and cultivate high-performing teams.

• Ensure uniformity in clinical interventions that assist members.

• Achieve the financial, operational, and quality goals of the unit.

• Lead assigned care management teams while ensuring compliance with established practices, policies, and procedures.

• Engage in recruitment and hiring processes using specified education, experience, technical, and performance criteria.

• Develop, initiate, monitor, and communicate performance expectations.

• Evaluate developmental needs and implement action plans to support high-performing teams.

• Assist in managing complex physical and behavioral health cases.

• Utilize critical thinking and sound judgment to promote appropriate healthcare outcomes.

• Guarantee access to primary care, behavioral health, and coordinated healthcare services.

• Offer clinical leadership and support to care management staff.

• Facilitate individual and team meetings concentrating on member service delivery, administrative responsibilities, and productivity standards.

• Collaborate with care managers, medical directors, the system of care, social support teams, and market staff to address barriers.

• Recognize and escalate quality-of-care concerns.

• Perform administrative tasks to support and manage the team.

• Convey strategic plans and tactics to realize cost and quality objectives.

• Identify best practices and innovation opportunities to enhance outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of Managed Care experience.

• At least 3 years of clinical experience.

• A minimum of 1 year of Management/Leadership experience.

• An RN license or independently licensed clinician in the Behavioral Health field in the state of Texas.

• A BSN is required for the RN license.

• A Master's degree is required for the Behavioral Health license.

• Familiarity with regulations, standards, and policies related to medical management (preferred).
