This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
β’ Utilizes extensive knowledge and expertise in clinical and scientific education to assist formulary and other access decision-makers.
β’ Conducts scientific presentations for formulary committees and leads discussions regarding Neurocrine products for designated national and regional managed care accounts.
β’ Works closely with members of the Market Access team to ensure that the information, resources, and training needs of managed care organizations are fulfilled.
β’ Facilitates the generation of health economic and outcomes data, as well as collaboration opportunities for pipeline products and existing treatments.
β’ Provides scientific assistance to internal stakeholders and consultants in Health Economics (HEOR), as well as during advisory board activities.
β’ Assists the Directors of Field Medical Affairs teams with training, testimony development, and other necessary resources.
β’ Coaches and mentors junior colleagues to enhance their professional growth.
β’ Educates internal stakeholders about the MCL teamβs roles, responsibilities, and overall value proposition.
β’ Trains other Field Medical Affairs teams in specific areas of expertise.
β’ PhD, PharmD, or equivalent in a health science discipline with over 7 years of experience in Field Medical Affairs.
β’ At least 2 years of prior MSL experience addressing scientific and clinical policy issues within a Managed Care, Market Access role, and/or relevant transferable experience (clinical practice, academic research, regulatory/scientific).
β’ Familiarity with health plan drug utilization decision-making processes (Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, DUR, Guideline Panels, ICER).
β’ Experience in conducting and communicating findings from health outcomes research.
β’ Alternatively, a PhD, PharmD, or equivalent in a health science field with a minimum of 1 year in Field Medical Affairs and at least 3 years of MCO experience.
β’ Emerging as an internal thought leader with both technical and/or business acumen.
β’ Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and influencing skills.
β’ Strong understanding of health economic principles and clinical trials.
β’ Demonstrated experience in conducting and sharing results from clinical trials, real-world evidence (RWE), and health economics and outcomes research.
