📋 Description

• Examine supplier dynamics within low- and middle-income nations for essential products, focusing on supplier market share, pricing structures, product development timelines, regulatory approvals, manufacturing processes, and strategies for supplier development and access.

• Create demand forecasts and uptake models for both new and existing technologies.

• Perform costing and impact assessments for financing, procurement, and distribution frameworks, including comprehensive pricing, equipment leasing, pooled procurement, and tender optimization.

• Develop presentations, reports, and analyses for discussions at both global and country levels regarding innovative products.

• Execute company due diligence and formulate business cases for supplier negotiations and pricing agreements.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with product manufacturers, external partners, and donors.

• Assist with in-country planning for the introduction of new products, encompassing strategic alignment, policy formulation, supply chain management, and resource mobilization.

• Monitor and evaluate developments in the diagnostics landscape, emerging technologies, regulatory frameworks, and best practices for implementation.

• Engage in meetings with government officials, technology providers, implementing partners, donors, and other organizations.

• Oversee daily project operations, which include documentation, tracking deliverables, knowledge sharing, and providing project management support.

• Aid fundraising efforts through research, narrative creation, proposal development, and donor engagement materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of an advanced degree with strong academic performance.

• At least 5 years of professional experience, including work in a dynamic, results-driven environment such as strategy consulting, pharmaceuticals, or health financing.

• Demonstrated project management capabilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities at once.

• Exceptional interpersonal abilities and the aptitude to forge strong relationships with individuals across various levels of seniority.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving competencies.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience working remotely within a decentralized team is a plus.

• Background in medical diagnostics and/or global health is advantageous.

• Experience in supporting low- and middle-income countries is beneficial.

• Preference for candidates based in a CHAI program country, pending leadership approval and the ability to secure work authorization.
