This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in designated disciplines following University learning objectives and course outlines.

• Present course materials, learning activities, and student evaluations utilizing up-to-date course resources.

• Offer additional insights and experiences that connect course concepts to real-world scenarios.

• Ensure timely availability of class materials.

• Foster an engaging classroom environment and respond swiftly to student inquiries.

• Establish a supportive educational atmosphere and proactively tackle academic challenges.

• Provide guidance, tutoring, and supplementary resources as needed.

• Supervise student clinical, practicum, or mentorship experiences where applicable.

• Participate in faculty meetings, University events, and student graduation ceremonies.

• Keep abreast of course updates, instructional standards, and pertinent information.

• Maintain professional and technical expertise through practice, certification/licensure, conferences, publications, networks, and professional organizations.

• Teach and fulfill other job-related responsibilities in an online setting.

• Stay informed about University technology and adapt to technological advancements.

• Carry out additional duties as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate in Nursing (DNP, DNS, PhD) or a related field such as Public Health, Health Sciences, Psychology, or Healthcare Administration.

• 6 graduate semester credits in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and/or Statistics.

• 5 years of experience in a healthcare-related practice.

• 1 year of teaching experience at the graduate level.

• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Degree obtained from a regionally accredited institution.

• Doctoral-level nursing practice experience or recent practice in Epidemiology and/or Biostatistics within the last 10 years; teaching in the area extends the currency requirement.

• A record of scholarship annually within a rolling one-year period, or the ability to comply within one year.

• Understanding of adult education teaching and learning principles.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in technology, including Microsoft suite programs.

• Capability to present a professional image and represent the University appropriately.
