This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Manage the peer review process for manuscripts.
β’ Supervise editorial decision-making based on best practices.
β’ Commission various content, including Perspectives and Reviews.
β’ Collaborate with external academic editors.
β’ Conduct outreach to scholarly communities.
β’ Write editorial pieces.
β’ Advocate for your research communities and for underrepresented stakeholders.
β’ Assist in the development of policies and special projects.
β’ Aid in resolving issues related to publication ethics and research integrity.
β’ Experience in a research or clinical setting, publishing, or other relevant fields; medical publishing experience is highly desirable.
β’ A postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline is mandatory. A PhD, MD, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
β’ Highly organized and efficient, possessing strong critical assessment and problem-solving skills.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication, along with presentation abilities.
β’ Passion for fast-paced environments and a proven capacity to adapt to change.
β’ Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of biological and medical sciences.
