This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Provide senior-level leadership for local auction initiatives to support organizational goals, auction processes, and enhance engagement with customers and team members.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization and with key clients to achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaboratively work with various teams to prioritize projects and drive significant business initiatives throughout the region.
• Engage in the formulation and execution of strategic plans, objectives, and goals for regional operations, ensuring alignment with the overall organizational objectives.
• Counsel senior leadership on strategic objectives by collecting and analyzing relevant business, financial, and operational data from the region.
• Leverage data to swiftly pinpoint areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance business performance and activities within the region.
• Ensure the regional operations and individual locations perform efficiently and economically in line with strategic plans and objectives.
• Collaborate with project management and operations teams to effectively implement change management initiatives across the region and its locations.
• Provide mentorship and accountability to a team of General Managers (Senior Leaders), facilitating effective succession planning through appropriate coaching, leadership development, and performance management.
• Serve as a key contact and change agent for other business groups regarding regional operations across the organization.
• Partner cross-functionally to design and implement new processes, systems, and programs/platforms that enhance effectiveness in regional operations.
• Ensure that Auction team members and General Managers comply with established safety policies and procedures, fostering a safe working environment.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Candidates must reside in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zone or be willing to relocate to an area within these time zones.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, as required for the Associate Director role supporting various sites.
• At least 8 years of experience in leading complex business transformation initiatives, developing personnel, and addressing intricate operational challenges in a high-volume environment, potentially utilizing experience in areas such as lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of key operations principles (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.) is advantageous.
• Strong skills in strategic data analysis.
• Proven capability to quickly identify opportunities and independently propose viable solutions, manage change, and lead effectively.
• Excellent leadership skills - leading through encouragement and coaching while resolving conflicts positively.
• A solid understanding and a proven track record of managing operations, particularly in Auction Operations.
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing exempt-level leaders while effectively implementing key changes and initiatives for growth or efficiency.
• Proven ability to navigate complex issues independently and guide others through complex problem-solving and change leadership.
• Highly skilled in using computer systems and applications.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving production environment.
• Proven track record of providing valuable and actionable feedback.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules as required.
• Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license.
