This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Offer senior-level auction leadership to support business objectives and initiatives, auction processes, and engagement of customers and team members.
• Establish and utilize strong relationships across the organization and with key clients to achieve desired outcomes.
• Strategically collaborate with various teams to determine project priorities and drive essential business initiatives throughout the region.
• Engage in the formulation and execution of strategic plans, goals, and objectives for regional operations, ensuring alignment with broader organizational aims.
• Counsel senior leaders on strategic objectives by collecting and analyzing relevant business, financial, and operational data from the region.
• Employ data to swiftly pinpoint areas of opportunity and suggest solutions to enhance business activities and performance in the region.
• Ensure the effective and economical operation of regional activities and individual locations in line with strategic plans, goals, and objectives.
• Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure successful execution of change management initiatives across the region and its locations.
• Provide mentorship and accountability to a team of General Managers (Senior Leaders). Successfully implement succession planning through appropriate coaching, leadership development, and performance management for the General Managers.
• Serve as a key point-of-contact and change agent for other business units within the organization regarding regional operations.
• Partner cross-functionally to effectively conceptualize and establish new processes, systems, programs, and platforms for regional operations.
• Ensure that Auction team members and General Managers comply with established safety policies and procedures, fostering a safe working environment.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Must reside in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zone or be willing to relocate to an area within these time zones.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, as required for the Associate Director role supporting various sites.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in leading intricate business transformation initiatives, developing talent, and addressing complex operational challenges in a high-volume setting, potentially leveraging experience in areas such as lean manufacturing.
• Familiarity with key operational principles (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.) is advantageous.
• Proficient in strategic data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly recognize areas of opportunity and independently propose feasible solutions, manage change, and provide leadership.
• Strong leadership capabilities - lead through encouragement and coaching, effectively navigating conflict through positive conflict resolution.
• A solid understanding and impressive track record of managing operations, particularly in Auction Operations.
• Proven experience in leading and developing exempt-level leaders while seamlessly executing key changes and growth or efficiency initiatives.
• Ability to resolve complex issues independently and guide others through intricate problem-solving and lead change.
• Highly skilled with computer systems and applications.
• Competence in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving production environment.
• Proven capacity to provide valuable and actionable feedback.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules as needed.
• Must be eligible to operate a motor vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license.
