• Utilize market and customer insights to craft market access strategies.
• Create strategies for payer customer segments and promotional initiatives.
• Recognize opportunities and assist in implementing pull-through activities and payer-related solutions for field sales and account management teams.
• Track payer feedback and market changes to guide tactical adjustments to the strategy.
• Provide insights from US payers to Brand Marketing, Global Market Access Teams, new product planning, Integrated Account Management, as well as Legal, Compliance, and Finance departments.
• Actively participate in formulating value evidence strategies, ensuring strong coordination with the Outcomes Research / V&I (Value & Implementation Team).
• Assist US Finance in creating segment-level forecasts to support brand forecasting.
• At least 6 years of combined experience in payer marketing, pricing/market access strategy, marketing/sales leadership, or account management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry; OR 7-8 years of consulting experience in the healthcare sector with direct payer marketing and pricing strategy related to product launches.
• Proven understanding of the mechanics and economics of the healthcare ecosystem, along with the influences across different payer segments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of US healthcare trends and policy issues, and their potential effects on our company's business opportunities.
• Strong grasp of marketing principles and the ability to activate market research insights.
• Capability to translate market trends and customer needs into resources or tactics for customers.
• Quick learner with the ability to evaluate a variety of scenarios both strategically and operationally.
• Proven strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
• Proven success in establishing, nurturing, and maintaining business relationships.
• Strong collaboration, project management, and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities within deadlines.
