Associate Director – Technology, AI, Digital Solutions – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily execution of technology, AI, analytics, automation, and digital transformation projects, encompassing planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery.

• Act as a primary point of contact for clients.

• Manage several workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously; set expectations, monitor dependencies, and ensure timely closure on decisions and action items.

• Take charge of project economics, including budgeting, burn rate management, and forecasting, while proactively identifying and escalating delivery risks.

• Collaborate with business, clinical, operational, and technology leaders to pinpoint high-value opportunities and convert them into actionable solution roadmaps.

• Guide the creation of both standardized and tailored solutions and client deliverables, such as intricate analyses, technology recommendations, implementation strategies, and presentations suitable for executives.

• Ensure stringent quality control across analyses, requirements, solution designs, dashboards, models, and written outputs.

• Lead team members through delegation, oversight, constructive feedback, and coaching; promote career development.

• Manage vendor and platform partnerships, integrating relevant industry practices into client solutions.

• Assist in business development by recognizing follow-up opportunities, contributing to proposals and scopes, and crafting methodologies and content ready for client presentation.

• Engage in practice development through recruitment, training, thought leadership, and the creation of reusable tools, templates, and delivery approaches.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of consulting and/or industry experience in healthcare technology, digital transformation, analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, or related fields.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, data science, healthcare administration, business administration, or a related area.

• Proven experience in leading intricate consulting or technology projects, formulating project strategies, estimating budgets and timelines, and overseeing project economics.

• Experience in converting business, clinical, operational, or financial requirements into technology strategies, specifications, roadmaps, and implementation plans.

• Proven track record of developing and nurturing collaborative relationships with executive clients and conveying technical concepts to business audiences.

• Capability to manage multiple projects or workstreams at once and guide teams through uncertainty with systematic execution.

• Experience in reviewing complex analyses and technology outputs for accuracy, clarity, and practical utility.

• Ability to mentor and support the professional growth of staff in project management and technical areas.

• Familiarity with healthcare provider or payer operations, data, and technology environments is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

• Willingness to travel frequently (25%).

• Ability to provide verification of legal authorization to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
