📋 Description

• The Associate Director of Strategic Accounts is essential in promoting enterprise goals by enhancing engagement with key clinics, IDNs, and academic centers throughout the Great Lakes region (MI, OH, IN, PA).

• This role is responsible for driving strategic planning, ensuring cross-functional alignment, and executing effectively to boost the adoption of critical resources, improve customer experience, and achieve measurable business results.

• The position demands a highly collaborative, inherently accountable, insights-driven professional who possesses a strong executive presence, excellent planning and execution discipline, and the ability to influence intricate healthcare systems.

• The ADSA will report directly to the East Area Director of Strategic Accounts.

• The ADSA will coordinate the implementation of strategic account plans, working closely with Sobi's cross-functional teams (e.g., RBD, CAM, Medical, Market Access, Compliance, etc.).

• The ADSA will also be tasked with delivering and conveying pertinent Sobi contract performance details to executive-level customers in GPO-affiliated accounts, including the initial contract stipulations and terms, performance metrics, and other relevant information in accordance with Sobi SOPs.

• The ADSA must demonstrate exceptional administrative and organizational skills to maintain and update comprehensive account plans.

• The ADSA will document their account calls in the Veeva system and present quarterly account plans to internal colleagues, including senior-level stakeholders at Sobi.

• This individual will act as a strategic integrator among internal teams to streamline customer interactions and ensure coordinated execution.

• Provide timely customer transitions to cross-functional partners, recorded in Veeva.

• Deliver actionable insights from customers to the marketing team and ensure documentation within the Account Planning tool.

• Lead and document action plans before and after conferences to optimize customer engagement and follow-through.

• Contribute to or lead at least one enterprise strategic initiative.

• Exhibit strong cross-functional leadership that enhances customer experience and internal collaboration.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (science, medical, business) or equivalent experience.

• Over 8 years of field sales experience.

• More than 3 years of experience managing complex institutional accounts (GPOs, IDNs, academic centers) within the realms of rare disease, specialty pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices.

• Extensive knowledge of GPO influence in key accounts.

• Proven success in adding medical benefit products to hospital formularies.

• Exceptional skills in account and stakeholder management, including relationships with C- and D-suite executives.

• Established expertise in biologic/oncolytic distribution and acquisition across clinics, academic centers, and IDNs while engaging pharmacy and purchasing stakeholders.

• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication abilities to coordinate both internal and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated clinical expertise with complex diseases.

• Possess managerial courage and organizational agility.

• Willingness to travel up to 60% across a large territory (MI, OH, IN, PA).

• Prior experience engaging with oncology/hematology stakeholders is highly preferred.
