This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and facilitate the comprehensive development of product initiatives, covering concept creation, design, implementation, launch, and post-launch assessment.

• Independently handle specified product enhancements, features, and programs that align with product strategy, timelines, and governance protocols.

• Collaborate across various departments including underwriting, actuarial, claims, finance, legal, state filing, marketing, client experience, client services, clinical, L&D, and technology to execute initiatives.

• Coordinate with external vendors and partners to aid in product delivery and implementation.

• Track product performance using financial and operational metrics, providing recommendations for enhancements to optimize outcomes.

• Recognize and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of product development.

• Act as a subject matter expert on stop-loss products, contributing to internal training, materials, and business enablement.

• Collaborate with distribution teams to facilitate growth, client engagement, and market expansion initiatives.

• Stay informed about industry, legislative, and competitor trends to support the execution of product strategy and change initiatives.

• Utilize data, analytics, and AI tools to assist in product research, development, and performance insights.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in stop-loss, self-funded healthcare, or related risk-based insurance products.

• Experience in product development, product strategy, or project leadership within a complex, matrixed environment is required.

• A strong understanding of stop-loss market dynamics, product design, and financial performance drivers is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

• Capability to operate independently while aligning with broader strategic directions and governance.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills are essential.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to influence across teams.

• Strong organizational and execution skills, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

• Familiarity with project management principles and tools is beneficial.
