This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Develop and steer competitive strategies to secure pursuits by analyzing the strategic landscape, particularly focusing on competitor strengths, weaknesses, and tactics.
• Implement competitor intelligence initiatives to assist Raytheon Technologies' divisions in comprehending and countering competitor activities.
• Coordinate growth strategies and customer interactions across Raytheon business units to meet the needs and capabilities of US DoD services and international partners.
• Oversee import and export licensing, manage sales intermediary relationships, and comprehend trade agreements to facilitate international sales.
• Provide support to the Naval Power (NP) Requirements and Capabilities team in identifying and developing new business opportunities, and positioning resources for NP growth.
• Act as the SBM and customer liaison throughout Raytheon to advocate for SBM interests and requirements with the Missile Defense Agency, particularly for the Aegis Based Defense in Dahlgren, VA. Shape opportunities to promote Raytheon solutions.
• Establish trust and solid relationships with customers, effectively communicating MDA/AB customer needs to SBM business leadership.
• Collaborate with the Naval Power Customer Account Manager for Japan and Japanese industry for joint development projects.
• Assist in the development and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives in line with customer plans and programs.
• Manage the budget for new business investments, aligning expenditures with technology roadmaps and customer needs.
• Prioritize customer focus by understanding the strategic environment, threat capabilities, issues, priorities, limitations, and requirements, as well as defense effector capabilities and capacity gaps. Create opportunities to assist in developing requirements.
• Formulate and execute internal and external customer contact strategies.
• Lead and participate in internal Raytheon Gate Reviews; conduct briefings for both internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations (GGR) at the Federal and State/Local levels on Public Policy to advocate for and develop new technologies and solutions.
• Approximately 25% annual travel, both domestic and international, for customer engagements and trade shows.
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 12 years of experience working with the Department of Defense, or an Advanced Degree with 10 years of experience.
• Proficiency in the Aegis Combat Management System, Integrated Battle Command System, or Command and Control Battle Management System.
• Experience in the design or operation of Integrated Air and Missile Defense sensors, effectors, operations, and/or capabilities.
• At least 5 years of experience as a project or program manager.
• Proven experience in compiling and delivering detailed briefings to senior leadership.
