Associate Director, SAP Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and supervise a team of external report developers to guarantee the timely and precise delivery of reporting solutions.

• Manage the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of reports and dashboards utilizing SAP DataSphere, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Power BI.

• Establish and oversee an intake process to capture and prioritize reporting requirements from business stakeholders.

• Create and sustain a centralized self-service reporting catalog that includes all reports, KPIs, and dashboards.

• Ensure that all reporting solutions comply with GxP regulations and validation requirements within the life sciences sector.

• Collaborate with functional teams, Data Stewards, Global Process Owners (GPOs), Business Process Managers (BPMs), and IT to align reporting solutions with business needs and ERP data standards.

• Participate in and engage with current data governance committees to gather requirements, align policies, and provide status updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Over 5 years of experience in reporting and analytics development, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.

• Demonstrated experience with SAP DataSphere, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Power BI.

• Solid understanding of ERP systems and enterprise data management principles.

• Required experience in GxP compliance and validation processes within the life sciences sector.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficient in SAC scripting (JavaScript-based) for advanced logic.

• Strong SQL and data modeling expertise.

• Familiarity with Power BI or other BI tools (for hybrid environments).

• Understanding of cloud architecture and data security.

• Capability to design intuitive dashboards and KPIs.

• In-depth knowledge of data visualization best practices.

• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
