This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +8 more states.
• Collaborate with the VP of Sales to develop and implement both short- and long-term sales strategies.
• Assist in annual and quarterly sales planning, focusing on goal-setting, resource allocation, and prioritization.
• Anticipate changes in the market, shifts in competition, and potential execution risks; provide data-driven recommendations.
• Prepare materials for leadership meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), field leadership summits, national sales meetings, and executive updates.
• Improve monitoring of KPIs, field reporting, and incentive compensation support with COBO.
• Convert complex data sets into actionable insights for Sales Leadership and field teams.
• Facilitate the development of sales dashboards, performance tracking tools, scorecards, and executive summaries.
• Assist in managing the territory database.
• Establish and refine sales operating rhythms and communication practices.
• Create and maintain sales-facing communications, messaging, and operational documentation.
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and devise solutions for enhanced consistency, speed, and execution.
• Serve as a liaison between headquarters and the field organization to ensure feedback, alignment, and coordination.
• Lead or assist in high-impact sales execution, field readiness, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Training, Advocacy, and Commercial Operations.
• Manage special projects for the VP of Sales, including analyses, recommendations, and operational initiatives.
• Support change management efforts for new systems, capabilities, or field resources.
• Oversee brand planning and projects for national/regional sales meetings.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations for commercial executives and the board of directors.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Preferred experience in sales operations, commercial operations, sales strategy, analytics, or related commercial roles within the pharma/biotech sector.
• A proven history of supporting senior commercial or sales leaders with insights, analytics, and operational leadership is preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Power BI, Veeva, Salesforce CRM, and advanced Excel.
• Comprehensive understanding of sales force effectiveness, territory alignment, targeting, call planning, incentives, and KPI frameworks.
• Exceptional communication skills are required.
• Preferred executive-level presentation abilities.
• Strong project management skills are required.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High emotional intelligence and strong relationship-building skills across various leadership levels.
• Ability to influence without formal authority and navigate effectively within a complex, matrixed organization.
• Flexible, proactive, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
• A strong desire for growth and adaptability to become a commercial and/or sales leader.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% and be based near a major airport.
