Associate Director – Rail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Accountable for assisting the Head of Rails and the senior management team in operations and delivery.

• Contribute to the expansion and growth of the headcount within the India team.

• Conduct interviews, select suitable candidates, and facilitate their onboarding process.

• Guide the team in supporting Rail projects.

• Create technical solutions for a variety of complex challenges.

• Operate under general guidance while independently developing strategies for solutions.

• Work collaboratively with senior management to devise strategies for business continuity and requirements.

• Stay connected with professional organizations to remain updated on current technologies.

• Provide regular updates to senior management regarding performance metrics and issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Engineering degree (or its equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized college or university.

• Over 15 years of experience in Civil Engineering; UK/Middle East/US experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Profound technical knowledge of the Rail sector.

• Capability to foster consensus and relationships among business leaders, management, and staff.

• Outstanding communication and persuasive skills.

• Proficient in business negotiations and personnel management.

• Strong managerial insight and knowledge of business administration principles.

• Competence in prioritizing and delegating tasks effectively.

• Must possess leadership qualities and abilities.

• Capability to meet deadlines and remain composed under pressure.
