This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee all elements of the Company’s Patient Support Programs, ensuring adherence to federal and state laws, regulations, and Company policies.
• Develop and refine monitoring, auditing, and governance processes in collaboration with Compliance to bolster the Company’s Ethics and Compliance program.
• Assist in contract negotiation and management alongside internal stakeholders.
• Foster and sustain strong, effective relationships with contracted service providers and their leadership teams.
• Promote efficient utilization of PSP budgets through active cost oversight, identification of optimization opportunities, and the creation of forward-looking financial forecasts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create standardized dashboards and reports to assess program performance.
• Establish KPIs and content for internal quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with senior leadership.
• Conduct ongoing business reviews, set performance metrics, complete on-site visits, and pinpoint continuous improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with Field Access, Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations to ensure a thorough understanding and effective execution of the Company’s Patient Support Programs.
• Act as a point of escalation to swiftly address field inquiries, issues, and operational challenges.
• Actively share market trends, best practices, competitive insights, and customer learnings to guide strategy development and refinement.
• Contribute to the creation of innovative service offerings by utilizing patient insights, call center analytics, competitive benchmarking, and evaluation of global best practices.
• Keep abreast of evolving vendor capabilities, regulatory requirements, and industry trends affecting patient services programs by participating in relevant industry conferences.
• Collaborate across departments, including Medical, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Field Sales, Legal, and Compliance, to align clinical and commercial strategies and support appropriate customer engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field is required; MBA is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare sales, market access, provider marketing, patient access, or reimbursement, including experience in vendor management.
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare Parts B and D, Medicaid, private payer policies, reimbursement processes, health policy, and specialty pharmacy.
• Familiarity with the legal and regulatory environment affecting patient services and financial assistance programs.
• Proven success in supporting product launches across both pharmacy and medical benefit products.
• Strong analytical abilities, enabling the interpretation of data, identification of trends, and informed strategic decision-making.
• Excellent skills in written, verbal, and presentation communication.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities and timelines effectively.
• Highly effective interpersonal and influencing abilities, focusing on delivering a consistent, positive experience for patients and customers.
