This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Exhibit extensive knowledge of the regional healthcare sector, encompassing emerging trends, evolving customer demographics, and policies influencing patient flow, product distribution, and financial transactions.
• Spearhead negotiations and the implementation of customer contracts, which include performance-based agreements and data-sharing agreements, to enhance access, accountability, and fulfill business goals.
• Collaborate with various teams in Strategic Pricing and Contracting, Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Insights and Analytics, Payer Channel Marketing, and Patient Support to execute brand strategies and optimize portfolio value.
• Provide guidance in formulating account strategies by aligning with Strategic Account Plans, concentrating on both immediate (12–24 months) and long-term (over 2 years) engagement and partnership goals.
• Demonstrate the capability to influence others and lead without formal authority in complex situations, promoting collaborative problem-solving and achieving consensus.
• For designated key accounts, manage business-to-business engagement for assigned products with influential leaders in community clinics and health systems, including business executives, C-Suite personnel, procurement officials, and financial decision-makers.
• Identify, pursue, and secure opportunities for product adoption within GPOs, MSOs, and Non-Acute clinic customers.
• A bachelor’s degree is mandatory, with a preference for candidates holding an advanced degree.
• Applicants should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 3-5 years of management in GPO, MSO, and Non-Acute clinic customer accounts and/or sales, as well as experience in rare diseases.
• Experience with infusion site of care delivery settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with GPOs, infusion centers, and specialty pharmacies is essential.
• Proven track record in account management, market sales growth, and product profitability.
• Demonstrated success in previous roles.
• Knowledge and/or understanding of purchase performance contracts and data agreements is required.
