This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Oversee Esperion Medical Information, including managing the Med Info contact center vendor and addressing escalated cases.
• Assist in creating medical materials such as Standard Response Documents, FAQs, and presentation slides.
• Manage digital medical platforms like Veeva Medical, Veeva CRM, and Tableau.
• Establish and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Medical Information and scientific exchange.
• Examine trends in medical information and relay significant findings and their business implications.
• Organize cross-functional meetings to create strategies for data education.
• Aid in the implementation of the medical communications platform across medical information, publications, and Medical Affairs interactions.
• Collaborate with the Director to co-create the strategic medical information and communications plan.
• Supervise internal training related to medical information processes, product education, and competitive intelligence.
• Contribute to content and knowledge management for Medical Affairs.
• Engage in Medical Legal Review and Medical Scientific Review Committee activities.
• Mentor and guide Medical Affairs fellows and interns.
• Keep updated knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas, disease states, therapies, and competitors.
• Work with global and international colleagues to synchronize medical/scientific communications.
• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences from an accredited institution is required.
• At least 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in medical information, medical/scientific communications, or medical affairs operations.
• Familiarity with medical information/communications databases and systems, including Veeva Vault Medcomms, Veeva Vault PromoMats, and Med Info databases.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong skills in presentation delivery.
• Proven project management abilities.
• Experience in collaborating with and managing external vendors.
• Capability to adapt, organize, prioritize, and work effectively in multifunctional teams within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficient in managing multiple projects and adhering to deadlines.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in meeting planning, organization, and management.
• High proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10–20%.
• PharmD, PhD, or another closely related advanced degree in life sciences is strongly preferred.
