Associate Director, Implementation and Improvement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Transform strategic priorities into practical implementation plans.

• Create and oversee implementation systems that align with collaborative improvement practices, such as planning cycles, progress monitoring, and feedback loops.

• Lead results-oriented planning processes by defining outcomes, indicators, and strategies that align with organizational objectives.

• Track performance data and adherence to implementation, utilizing insights to foster continuous improvement and necessary adjustments.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to synchronize efforts, eliminate obstacles, and ensure coordinated execution.

• Establish and facilitate implementation rhythms under the guidance of the Director of Collaborative Improvement (e.g., strategy reviews, progress check-ins, learning cycles).

• Enhance the capability of staff and partners in executing strategies, continuous improvement, and making data-informed decisions.

• Identify potential risks to implementation and communicate insights and recommendations to the Director of Collaborative Improvement.

• Aid in the integration of evidence-based practices and continuous improvement methodologies across various initiatives.

• Record progress, outcomes, and lessons learned to inform organizational knowledge and future strategy formulation.

• Maintain a professional rapport with students, families, and teachers, consistently operating with integrity.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in public administration, education, organizational leadership, or a related field is required.

• A Master’s degree in public administration, education, organizational leadership, or a similar field is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy implementation, program management, continuous improvement, or a related area.

• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role is required.

• Proven experience in translating strategy into execution with measurable results.

• Strong facilitation skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and structured planning processes.

• Experience in utilizing data to guide decision-making and enhance performance.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
