This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Conduct investigations into potential breaches of U.S. and international export control laws and regulations.
• Prepare disclosures to U.S. and international government agencies concerning violations of export control laws.
• Oversee and manage an active investigative caseload utilizing RTX’s matter management system.
• Collaborate with members of Collins Aerospace’s expansive Global Trade team to determine the underlying causes of regulatory and policy infractions and to establish effective corrective measures.
• Provide updates to Corporate and Collins Aerospace leadership on the progress of ongoing global trade investigations.
• Record the resolution of cases that do not raise reasonable suspicion of a regulatory breach.
• Address governmental inquiries and fulfill data requests.
• Support the development, implementation, enhancement, and upkeep of Collins Aerospace and RTX policies, standard operating procedures, and processes for global trade compliance.
• Evaluate and audit employee adherence to company policies and government regulations.
• Educate and advise employees on regulatory and policy obligations.
• Conduct data searches within company systems, generate reports, and analyze data and trends to identify compliance vulnerabilities and formulate actionable improvement strategies.
• Manage specific projects, some of which will necessitate supervision and management of members of the Central GT I&D Team.
• Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• At least 10 years of legal experience in Global Trade.
• Comprehensive understanding of the EAR and ITAR.
