Associate Director, Field Reimbursement, Eye Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Oversee, mentor, and cultivate a regional team of Field Reimbursement Managers

• Provide consistent field coaching and performance evaluations

• Ensure that FRMs offer precise and compliant assistance related to coverage, coding, billing, payment, product acquisition, and affordability

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to enhance access strategies and customer education programs

• Track team activities, capacity, and performance metrics

• Identify skill deficiencies and establish development plans

• Maintain direct involvement with key accounts to address complex access challenges

• Relay field insights and obstacles to internal teams

• Aid in recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and continuous talent development for direct reports

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory; Master's degree is preferred

• At least 5 years of experience in coverage, coding, managed healthcare, and/or market access in neuroscience or a related role

• A minimum of 3 years of experience leading field teams

• Experience in eye care, specialty products, physician-administered therapies, or specialty pharmacy is preferred

• Strong understanding of reimbursement processes, payer policies, and access dynamics

• Demonstrated ability to handle complex customer situations with sound judgment and a strong compliance focus

• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area
