This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the key scientific representative within your region, facilitating valuable exchanges of clinical data and medical information with KOLs, HCPs, clinical research investigators, pharmacists, and other decision-makers.
• Develop relationships with investigators, enhance site infrastructure, and gather medical intelligence to influence the clinical and medical direction of our program.
• Coordinate field activities with strategic medical initiatives, collect actionable insights on the changing treatment landscape, and support research and development that improves both the pipeline and patient outcomes.
• Partner with Clinical Development to identify, qualify, and set up clinical research sites in your territory.
• Build and nurture investigator relationships prior to study activation to establish scientific credibility and organizational trust.
• Analyze the KOL and investigator environment in allergy/immunology to guide clinical and medical strategies.
• Collect early field insights about treatment patterns, unmet needs, and emerging scientific developments to help shape the medical plan.
• Assist in creating medical affairs infrastructure, including educational materials and scientific exchange tools, ahead of product launch.
• Serve as the primary clinical/scientific resource for HCPs, providing disease-state and product information to ensure thorough awareness and understanding.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain peer relationships with KOLs in the allergy/immunology field.
• Identify and communicate medical insights.
• Recognize research gaps and educational needs to inform medical strategy.
• Respond to inquiries related to study indications, disease states, and the therapeutic area, while discussing scientific and clinical data with appropriate audiences in a compliant manner.
• Ensure that company policies, procedures, principles, and financial controls are maintained with integrity and professionalism.
• A clinical or scientific doctorate (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, or DVM) is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a relevant scientific, clinical, or pharmaceutical role, including at least 4 years as a Medical Science Liaison in the pharmaceutical sector is required.
• Experience in the allergy/immunology field is required.
• Familiarity with treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, pharmaceutical compliance, and OIG guidelines is essential.
• Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 50%), which includes air travel, overnight stays, and occasional weekend travel.
• Previous experience in a pre-launch or launch phase MSL role is preferred.
• Experience in supporting clinical trial site identification, feasibility assessments, or investigator engagement is beneficial.
