This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Function as a Portfolio Architect responsible for mapping current digital and business processes, identifying essential process modifications, formulating technology roadmaps, and serving as a key resource to facilitate our transformation journey.
• Manage one or multiple business technology portfolios within the Sustainment portfolio (e.g., Aftermarket, MRO), encompassing the associated strategies, roadmaps, solutions, and applications.
• Act as a senior member of the architecture community, tasked with crafting clear technical architectures, standards, and strategic technology roadmaps for designated portfolios within P&W, enhancing end-to-end visibility of digital technologies aligned with business processes, and promoting the value and visibility of P&W’s architectural strategy.
• Create and present comprehensive architecture guidelines for major initiatives while collaborating extensively with all P&W stakeholders to ensure that Portfolio Architecture fulfills company requirements.
• Provide strong leadership and overall technical guidance to technology and business teams, developing and conveying recommendations to stakeholders based on enterprise standards.
• Exhibit thought leadership and proficiency in platforms (e.g., SLM, SEM), applications, and associated business processes within the designated portfolios, showcasing a thorough understanding of these elements.
• Engage with peers, executives, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders employing excellent communication skills to achieve business objectives in a complex, regulated, global setting.
• Offer guidance on a global scale regarding industry best practices for architecture and business processes within the assigned portfolio(s).
• Demonstrate experience in process mapping, architecture, and optimization for the digital transformation of significant industrial, manufacturing, or A&D organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field with 12+ years of experience in Information Technology, including 7+ years as a portfolio architect overseeing large-scale technology portfolios; OR an advanced degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of experience in Information Technology, including 7+ years as a portfolio architect managing large-scale technology portfolios.
• Experience in implementing global processes and practices for architecture, including oversight of portfolio roadmaps and application standards.
• Proficiency with modern architecture frameworks and designs that facilitate successful digital technology integration and DevSecOps pipeline delivery.
• Capability to provide strategic technical leadership and influence the development of short- and long-term strategies and roadmaps in a virtual environment.
• Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to produce clear, concise, and logically structured business communications, as well as present recommendations effectively.
