This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Define and spearhead the design and enhancement of PharmaEssentia’s commercial data strategy.
• Act as a strategic advisor to both Commercial and non-Commercial leaders by formulating, analyzing, and executing action plans that advance the data environment.
• Oversee MDM, the data warehouse, and associated systems through vendor collaborations, including continuous assessment of future enhancements.
• Create an enterprise strategy by evaluating current integrations, optimizing data flow, and minimizing manual processes.
• Ensure the consistency of structured customer data across CRM and the data warehouse for reporting and advanced analytics.
• Facilitate scalable integration of backend CRM data, specialty pharmacy, claims, payer, field activities, digital engagement, and omnichannel data sources.
• Examine various data sources, such as specialty pharmacy and specialty distribution (SP/SD) data, to produce insights and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Compliance to ensure adherence to data requirements and AI/LLM governance standards.
• Lead the creation of scalable analytical solutions for ongoing analyses, and work alongside internal and external stakeholders to enhance business operations and efficiency.
• Drive the adoption of dashboards and reporting platforms for both field and headquarters teams.
• Manage relationships with third-party data providers (e.g., Beghou, ZS, Komodo, Veeva), including budget management and quarterly business reviews.
• Bring experience from the life sciences sector, with a deep understanding of pharmaceutical data and analytics demands.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in data strategy, data management, governance, and data platforms.
• Strong analytical and technical abilities, including proficiency in SQL, R, SAS, or Python, as well as Microsoft Excel and Snowflake/Databricks.
• Experience in data visualization using tools such as Tableau and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with marketing and digital data, patient-level claims data, specialty pharmacy and specialty distribution data, EHR, lab test data, HCO hierarchy and affiliation data, Veeva CRM Suite, and other pharmaceutical data sources.
• Extensive knowledge of analytical techniques and data sources, with the capability to identify the most suitable approach for addressing key business inquiries.
• Experience in field force analytics, including customer segmentation, targeting, performance measurement, and data change request processes.
• Consulting experience is advantageous.
