Associate Director – Cybersecurity Posture, Hygiene, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee a comprehensive enterprise security posture and hygiene initiative.

• Lead and nurture a diverse team that is accountable for control assessments, configuration hygiene, remediation strategies, and ongoing enhancements.

• Utilize AI technologies to enhance the speed and efficiency of continuous control monitoring and response mechanisms.

• Incorporate telemetry data from AI-driven tools to identify misuse and configuration drift.

• Create and enhance a control framework that aligns with the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Top 18 Controls.

• Implement a standardized approach for assessing control maturity.

• Collaborate with various teams to integrate secure-by-default configurations.

• Develop metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.

• Continuously advance the program by remaining informed about emerging risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of relevant experience, OR a Master's Degree with 8 years of experience, OR a PhD with 4 years of experience.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in the field of cybersecurity.

• Significant experience in overseeing security posture and hygiene strategies.

• Proven experience in implementing an AI-driven security program.

• In-depth knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, systems administration, applications, and security technologies.

• Mastery of cybersecurity terminology, concepts, and the cyber threat landscape.

• Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles.

• Advanced skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and analysis.

• Strong leadership and collaboration abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication and listening skills.

• Professional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CIS Controls) are highly preferred.
