This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the analytics for promotional effectiveness regarding TRUTAKNA, guiding the ideal levels and combinations of promotional investments across various channels, audiences, and customer segments.
• Construct and analyze promotional response models, program ROI evaluations, and assessments of channel and campaign effectiveness.
• Enhance capabilities for marketing mix and promotional sequence optimization as historical promotional data builds.
• Assess the sales impact from both personal and non-personal channels utilizing statistical and predictive modeling techniques.
• Create test-and-learn methodologies in situations where historical data is scarce.
• Base segmentation, targeting, and prioritization of customers on promotional responsiveness.
• Assist in the sizing and deployment of field teams, aligning territories, setting goals, and designing incentive compensation structures.
• Examine field activities and territory outcomes using quantitative KPIs alongside qualitative insights from the field.
• Aid in patient-based demand forecasting, which includes patient funnel and flow models.
• Validate forecast assumptions using benchmarks from analog launches, real-world data, and primary market research.
• Align demand signals with financial forecasts and supply planning inputs, clarifying variances and changes in assumptions.
• Develop a comprehensive analytical perspective from CRM, field activities, patient services, HUB enrollments, market access, specialty pharmacy, and sales data.
• Collaborate with Business Operations and IT to define requirements for the commercial data environment.
• Create reusable, well-documented analytical assets.
• Utilize AI and generative AI tools to expedite analysis, automate routine reporting, and integrate unstructured data inputs.
• Assess AI-enabled analytics capabilities and vendor offerings.
• Aid in establishing standards for responsible AI usage, encompassing output validation, data privacy, and compliance frameworks.
• Contribute to launch reporting and quarterly business reviews focused on sales performance analysis.
• Act as an analytics collaborator across Business Operations, Marketing, Market Access, Sales, Patient Services, and Launch Excellence.
• Provide executive-level presentations tailored for non-technical audiences.
• Manage competing priorities from stakeholders while negotiating scope and timelines.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to adhere to healthcare regulations, privacy, and data usage policies.
• An advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD, or MBA) in a quantitative, scientific, or business field is preferred; however, a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or scientific discipline with equivalent experience will also be considered.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial analytics, business insights, or commercial data within biotech or pharmaceutical commercial teams.
• Proven expertise in promotional effectiveness initiatives, covering promotional response modeling, program ROI, and channel or campaign measurements; familiarity with marketing mix modeling or promotional sequence optimization is advantageous.
• Experience in supporting patient-based demand forecasting, including funnel or patient flow models.
• Hands-on experience with real-world data sources, such as anonymized patient-level data, claims, lab data, specialty pharmacy or HUB data, and syndicated prescription or shipment data.
• Experience working with internal business data sources, including CRM, field activity data, patient services data, and market access or channel data.
• Proficient in advanced Excel; familiarity with BI and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI; knowledge of Python, SQL, or R is a plus.
• Practical, current experience using AI tools in biotechnology commercial applications, with specific examples demonstrating enhancements in output speed or quality.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a history of engaging and influencing executive stakeholders.
• Proven capability to juggle multiple priorities concurrently across a diverse stakeholder landscape with minimal guidance.
• Preferred qualifications include expertise in forecasting methodologies, primary market research, specialty or rare diseases, nephrology, immunology, or autoimmune product launches, experience in small or mid-sized biotech firms, and management of analytics vendors/agencies/offshore delivery teams.
• This position is remote within the United States; approximately 25% occasional travel is anticipated for team meetings, sales gatherings, and onsite collaboration weeks.
