This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Design and spearhead the organization’s worldwide strategy for clinical trial site budgeting, investigator grant approach, transparency compliance, and governance of site/vendor payments throughout our clinical trial portfolio.
• Articulate Jade’s global philosophy on investigator grants, incorporating structured initial offers and negotiation guidelines.
• Set benchmarks for invoiceables, conditional procedures, pass-through expenses, and country-specific budgeting standards applicable to all Jade clinical studies.
• Supervise a full-service CRO partner tasked with the operational execution of budgets, payments, reconciliation, and financial controls for studies.
• Develop and sustain global site budget forecasts, ensuring timely CRO funding, and assist with accruals, reconciliation, and readiness for inspections.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, life sciences, business, or a related discipline with over 13 years of experience, or an advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH) with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• More than 10 years of pertinent experience in biotech/pharma or CRO positions with direct oversight of site budgeting and payment management.
• Proven ability to interpret clinical protocols and translate them into solid, compliant global site budgets.
• Comprehensive understanding of global FMV frameworks and Sunshine/Open Payments transparency regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a full-service CRO, including KPI oversight, escalation management, and process enhancement.
• Capability to analyze financial statements, accruals, and the impacts on cash flow.
• Preferably experienced in supporting Autoimmune or immune-mediated diseases.
• Experience in managing global payment structures across varying regulatory landscapes is preferred.
• Familiarity with KOL/HCP engagement processes, including FMV and transparency considerations, is preferred.
