This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the outpatient therapy program across all senior living locations, establishing both short- and long-term objectives with specific milestones and phased implementation strategies.
• Create and standardize therapy program models, clinical workflows, documentation standards, and performance frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability across all locations.
• Oversee complete site operations from pre-launch, site evaluation, and equipment procurement approval, while collaborating with local branch clinical and operational leadership for staffing, scheduling, and care delivery.
• Establish evidence-based clinical protocols tailored for the geriatric outpatient demographic, focusing on fall prevention, functional rehabilitation, chronic disease management, and post-acute recovery.
• Track and report clinical and operational KPIs such as units per clinician, hospitalization avoidance, plan of care goal achievement, and average daily census and revenue per community, providing regular executive-level updates to leadership.
• Collaborate with Strategic Business Development, Sales Leaders, and Senior Living Partnership Executives to ensure program delivery effectively supports and safeguards preferred provider partnerships.
• Conduct routine partnership reviews with senior living operators, showcasing outcomes data, operational performance, and future program recommendations that strengthen the preferred provider relationship.
• Act as a senior-level clinical presence and brand ambassador within the senior living portfolio, ensuring that every clinical interaction reflects the service excellence standards that set the program apart competitively.
• Advanced clinical licensure is required – Physical Therapy (PT) or Occupational Therapy (OT) is necessary; candidates must possess an active, unrestricted license.
• An MBA, MHA, or other advanced degrees will be an asset.
• A minimum of 5 years of healthcare management experience and at least 5 years of outpatient therapy clinical experience, with proven expertise in the geriatric population.
• Demonstrated understanding of Medicare Part B billing, medical necessity documentation, and compliance regulations.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the polish, poise, and executive presence necessary for effective interactions with executive-level audiences and key stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Current or recent experience in a complex, matrixed organization with a proven ability to influence leaders and key stakeholders in such environments.
• A highly collaborative mindset and outstanding relationship-building abilities, including the capability to engage diverse stakeholders and secure their co-ownership in the outcomes.
