Associate Director, Client Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships with advocacy groups, non-profits, policy organizations, relevant agencies, and stakeholders.

• Act as a brand ambassador for Axios at events and within the advocacy community.

• Discover and pursue new collaboration opportunities to enhance revenue and broaden Axios' advocacy footprint.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams to effectively implement partnership initiatives.

• Foster and develop client partnerships to increase Axios' revenue and influence in the advocacy field.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the digital media/news industry or sales.

• Established connections with key agencies and brands.

• Comprehension of the advocacy landscape in Washington D.C., along with established relationships with significant stakeholders.

• Background in a media or strategic planning environment.

• Awareness of digital media, online marketing technology, and Axios' competitive landscape.

• Outstanding teamwork skills both within the team and across various functions.

• Readiness to travel and participate in industry events and networking opportunities.

• A growth mindset with a desire to continually learn and refine your skills.

• Comfort with outbound sales strategies, managing inbound leads, and nurturing existing client relationships.

• Proven history of consistently achieving targets and quotas.

• Capacity to develop AI literacy and utilize AI tools to boost productivity, creativity, and efficiency.
