This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Actively communicate and cultivate innovative approaches, concepts, and services.
• Serve as a primary subject matter expert, providing strategic insights on specific client challenges or market trends.
• Manage the brand and communication strategies of an account in collaboration with the Account Lead and Creative Lead.
• Develop and maintain brand strategies, defining and enhancing them across various campaigns and activities.
• Contextualize thinking by identifying how a brand and communications can impact business challenges, clarifying the roles of brand, communication, and channels within business strategies—anticipating future needs rather than solely focusing on immediate concerns.
• Advocate for the brand purpose, ensuring it is reflected consistently across all key touchpoints and communications.
• Explore additional avenues for expanding assigned accounts, both externally and within the agency.
• Build relationships with senior leadership and collaborate with diverse teams and departments (Creative, Account, etc.).
• Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and accounts while overseeing the award submission process.
• Enhance the capabilities of and mentor junior team members.
• A minimum of 5 years of overall business experience is essential.
• At least 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing or communications within an agency setting, demonstrating career advancement with a focus on boosting engagement and fostering innovation.
• A Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, or communications is required.
• Proven experience in developing effective pharmaceutical marketing strategies.
• Expertise in leveraging insights, transforming strategies into brand plans, and operating within a multi-platform ecosystem.
• Demonstrated experience in people management.
• Ability to present marketing and strategic plans to key client decision-makers.
