Associate Director, Biostatistics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of biostatisticians, ensuring accountability for their individual deliverables as well as their technical and professional growth.

• Supervise Biostatistics contributions to clinical validation projects within the oncology sector.

• Spearhead the development of innovative statistical methodologies and simulations to facilitate cutting-edge study designs.

• Create, assess, and standardize high-quality documentation for both internal and external collaborators and stakeholders across various functions.

• Detect risks, articulate concerns, and advocate for solutions within cross-functional project teams.

• Continuously enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness through the adoption of innovative techniques and strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. or M.S.) in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline (Ph.D. is preferred).

• Over 7 years of experience in biostatistics for clinical trials.

• In-depth understanding of survival analysis, censoring, and other advanced statistical methods pertinent to oncology.

• Proficiency in innovative study design and power/simulation methodologies.

• Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing junior team members.

• Capability to convey complex statistical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences while fostering collaborative, cross-functional relationships.
