Associate Director – AI Enablement, IT Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the daily operational facilitation of Microsoft 365 Copilot throughout the organization.

• Set up, test, activate, and manage Copilot features, configurations, and options within the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Ensure that Copilot remains operational, secure, and user-friendly as Microsoft rolls out updates and new functionalities.

• Collaborate with IT security, infrastructure, applications, and service teams to ensure AI enablement aligns with operational standards.

• Convert AI capabilities into practical, repeatable applications that enhance employee productivity.

• Work directly with BioCryst's business and functional units to assist in AI integration within their systems and workflows.

• Aid departments in pinpointing opportunities where AI can enhance efficiency, accuracy, or decision-making.

• Manage IT training and enablement for new hires, system modifications, and technology rollouts.

• Create and maintain clear, accurate IT documentation and self-service resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent blend of education and relevant experience.

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in IT, digital workplace enablement, enterprise applications, or technology adoption roles.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting AI-enabled tools, automation, or intelligent platforms in an enterprise context.

• Practical experience enabling, operating, or supporting Microsoft 365 Copilot or similar AI productivity platforms.

• Proven track record of translating AI capabilities into tangible, repeatable business use cases across various departments.

• Experience collaborating closely with security, infrastructure, data, and compliance teams to ensure responsible and compliant AI utilization.

• Demonstrated capability in driving technology adoption, training, and change enablement, beyond merely deploying tools.

• Experience in a regulated or compliance-driven environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, healthcare, or similar) is highly desirable.
