Associate Creative Director, Copy – Pharma Agency Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with an art partner, Creative Director, and other team members to develop and execute engaging creative concepts.

• Take ownership of the brand's voice and narrative for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Lead the development of concepts and copy across projects of various complexities and scopes.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and delegate tasks effectively to ensure seamless execution.

• Contribute to brainstorming sessions for brand initiatives.

• Act as a liaison between senior creative staff and cross-functional team members.

• Ensure that deliverables align with strategic, business, and creative objectives.

• Present and advocate for work externally while building strong client relationships.

• Offer mentorship, guidance, and support to the copy team to foster their career development.

• Engage in new business development as a conceptor and writer of ideas that win pitches.

• Show a commitment to principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education along with relevant professional experience is required.

• Minimum of 8 years of writing experience in marketing, advertising, or a related sector.

• Proficient in writing for both healthcare professionals (HCP) and direct-to-consumer (DTC) audiences.

• Experience with rare diseases is advantageous.

• Agency of Record (AOR) experience is preferred.

• Strong background in copywriting and concept development.

• Outstanding leadership abilities.

• A passion for storytelling.

• Capacity to multitask and delegate effectively.

• Advanced skills in presentations.
