Associate Contracts Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Create and negotiate a variety of complex author contracts, including global joint acquisition agreements and progressing to profit-sharing agreements.

• Provide support for Macmillan Audio agreements while addressing the specific needs of publishers.

• Offer guidance to Editors, Publishers, Finance teams, and other colleagues regarding deal terms and agency standard provisions.

• Handle contract terminations.

• Input and maintain contract information in Biblio.

• Participate in special projects as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Around 4-7 years of experience with book publishing contracts, either in-house or at a literary agency.

• Capability to manage a high volume of work with varying levels of complexity.
