• Assist in the creation and modification of health economic models, encompassing both global and local cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, under the supervision of senior colleagues, ensuring that the outputs are comprehensive, well-structured, and delivered within agreed timelines.
• Perform quantitative analyses, guaranteeing precision, reproducibility, and thorough documentation of methods, assumptions, and results.
• Organize and prioritize personal workload within the project framework, raising concerns when issues may impact quality, scope, dependencies, or timelines.
• Aid in systematic literature reviews of economic data, including data extraction and evidence synthesis to guide model inputs and project deliverables, such as indirect treatment comparisons and MAICs.
• Help prepare materials for clients, including slide presentations, technical reports, model summaries, and user guides, providing analytical insights to enrich project findings and recommendations.
• Conduct quality assessments on analytical work, model computations, and data sources to ensure outputs align with internal and client standards, facilitating first-time-right delivery and minimizing rework.
• Assist in project coordination by tracking timelines, managing data sources, liaising with internal stakeholders, and overseeing dependencies for specific project components.
• Engage in client meetings (when appropriate), offering analysis and insights as part of the project team and aiding senior colleagues in presenting project results.
• Remain updated on HTA requirements, methodological advancements, and best practices from NICE, SMC, NCPE, and international entities, applying this expertise to enhance technical quality and delivery methods.
• Recognize recurring challenges in analysis, modeling, or delivery techniques and suggest practical enhancements to bolster quality, efficiency, and consistency.
• Contribute to the enhancement of delivery processes and team working practices.
• A degree (or higher qualification) in Health Economics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with confidence in handling complex datasets and employing quantitative methods.
• Proficiency in Excel is essential; experience with R, Python, Stata, or VBA is a plus.
• Knowledge of clinical, epidemiological, and economic data and their transformation into structured analytical outputs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of articulating technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
