Associate Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Support customers in developing scalable, well-managed, and flexible enterprise technology infrastructures utilizing Red Hat solutions

• Concentrate on customer IT Automation and Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure solutions through in-depth technical engagement

• Execute technical implementations and endorse recommended practices

• Encourage the adoption of Red Hat solutions among customers

• Commit to continuous learning, growth, and adaptation to emerging skills and technologies

• Collaborate with financial services, retail, telecommunications, and institutional clients through both virtual and on-site interactions

• Participate as a technical contributor on a consulting team for customer project delivery

• Transform customer use cases into project plans in line with Red Hat technologies

• Deploy enterprise solutions within customer environments as part of a delivery team

• Share insights, best practices, and how-tos with both internal and external communities of practice

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering a technical implementation as part of a project or team

• Ability to contribute to technical projects through effective teamwork and collaboration

• Strong organizational skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Capacity to interact directly with customers across various roles and organizations while clearly conveying technical and non-technical concepts

• Demonstrated capacity to swiftly adapt to new and unfamiliar situations

• Hands-on experience with at least one coding or scripting language, such as Java, Python, C++, YAML, Bash, Javascript, or React

• Understanding of backend software development methodologies, frameworks, and principles

• Enthusiasm for backend software development, IT automation, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, DevOps, and Artificial Intelligence

• Willingness to travel to customer sites for up to 30-40 weeks per year

• Candidates must live within reasonable proximity to a major airport

• Familiarity with at least one Red Hat technology is advantageous

• Previous customer-facing experience is a plus
