This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily strategic management of a significant client account, delivering comprehensive Medical Affairs and Publications programs.
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, serving as a strategic advisor and adeptly navigating intricate business discussions.
• Collaborate with Scientific Services, Editorial, Digital, Creative, and Operations teams to produce high-quality scientific communications that align with client goals.
• Manage account financial performance, encompassing forecasting, budgeting, profitability, resource planning, and recognizing opportunities for organic account growth.
• Promote operational excellence by applying best practices, enhancing delivery processes, and spearheading strategic initiatives to boost account performance.
• Guide, mentor, and develop Client Services team members, cultivating a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
• Contribute to business development efforts by leading proposals, RFPs/RFIs, pitches, and onboarding new business, while identifying opportunities to enrich the existing client partnership.
• Direct account strategy and planning, leveraging market insights and industry trends to devise innovative solutions that provide long-term value.
• Remain updated on advancements in Medical Affairs, scientific publications, AI, and omnichannel engagement, presenting new ideas and strategic insights to clients and internal teams.
• Extensive experience in Client Services within a medical communications agency, with a strong background in supporting Medical Affairs and/or Publications accounts.
• Proven track record of building trusted relationships with senior pharmaceutical clients and effectively leading integrated scientific communications programs.
• Robust commercial and financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets, forecasting, profitability, and fostering organic account growth.
• Experience in leading and developing Client Services teams while effectively collaborating across Scientific Services, Editorial, Digital, and other cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated success in leading business development initiatives, including proposals, pitches, and expanding existing client relationships.
• Strategic thinker capable of translating client objectives and market insights into impactful Medical Affairs and Publications strategies.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to developing talent and delivering outstanding client experiences.
