Associate Career Services Specialist – Hygiene

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• This role entails providing support for the Dental Career Planning (DCP) program by delivering non-clinical career education and individualized guidance to dental hygiene students and those in the early stages of their careers as hygienists.

• This position contributes to the expansion of DCP’s partnerships with hygiene programs, enhances engagement on studentdentist.com, and fortifies the pipeline of future dental professionals through impartial and practical coaching regarding job searches and initial career choices.

• Establish and nurture relationships with dental hygiene programs to coordinate seminars, workshops, and office hours as DCP broadens its reach into hygiene.

• Offer one-on-one career planning through office hours and scheduled appointments, assisting students from the preparation stage to their first job decisions.

• Monitor activities and outcomes (such as presentations delivered, student interactions, resume reviews completed, office hours conducted, and school engagement) to support the growth objectives of the program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally, 2 to 4 or more years of progressively responsible experience in recruiting, career services, or workforce development, preferably within the healthcare or dental sectors.

• Familiarity with AS400, Product Information Management systems like Informatica 360, JD Edwards, and Microsoft Office.

• Proficiency in Excel is essential.

• Excellent coaching and facilitation abilities (comfortable leading seminars and providing one-on-one advising).

• Understanding of dental hygiene career trajectories and the hiring landscape, including trends related to wage pressure and talent scarcity.
