
Associate Captive Sales Executive – Medical Stop Loss

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at expanding captive membership, increasing premium volume, and driving revenue growth.
• Establish and nurture relationships with employee benefits brokers, consultants, CFOs, HR leaders, business owners, and other pivotal decision-makers.
• Identify, target, and develop opportunities with middle-market, upper middle-market, and national account employers.
• Provide education to prospects and partners regarding self-funded health plans, medical stop-loss, captive insurance, and strategies for managing healthcare costs.
• Guide opportunities through the full sales cycle, encompassing prospecting, discovery, proposal development, presentation, negotiation, and closing.
• Partner with underwriting, account management, marketing, and leadership teams to achieve outstanding client results and bolster retention efforts.
• Represent BevCap at industry conferences, broker meetings, networking events, and client presentations.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and ensure accurate tracking of sales activities within Salesforce and HubSpot.
• Travel as necessary to facilitate business development, client meetings, and market-facing events.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or consulting related to medical stop-loss, self-funded employee benefits, captive insurance, or a similar field.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding new business objectives.
• Established connections with employee benefits brokers, consultants, or employer decision-makers.
• Proficient understanding of self-funded health plans, medical stop-loss, and employee benefits strategies.
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to articulate complex insurance and financial concepts to executive audiences.
• Highly organized with strong skills in follow-up and pipeline management.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Active Accident & Health Insurance License is preferred, or the ability to obtain one within 30 days.
