This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Ensures quality assurance throughout all files by meticulously reviewing both active and expired policies, endorsements, and documents for precision, punctuality, and compliance with established policies.
• Prepares error-free submissions to effectively communicate coverage terms to underwriters under the broker's guidance.
• Evaluates, analyzes, and underwrites risks, determines premium rates and terms for submissions, and assesses exposures for quotes related to new and renewal business.
• Issues quotes and binders, processes new business to enhance revenue, and ensures retention and profitability.
• Provides exceptional customer service during the marketing process of new and renewal business to both underwriters and clients.
• Has an understanding of market dynamics and effectively negotiates pricing and coverage terms with underwriters.
• Communicates corrections and clarifications regarding all policy documents to clients and underwriters.
• Builds collaborative relationships with clients, agents, and internal teams.
• Develops a strong network of industry contacts.
• Shows a commitment to ongoing professional growth by completing designated educational courses.
• Bachelor’s degree is required in Business Administration, Sales, or Risk Management preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Wholesale brokerage, Commercial insurance coverages, Sales, or Underwriting is preferred.
• Must fulfill the minimum criteria for state P&C and/or surplus lines licenses.
• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) (Preferred), or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) is a plus.
