This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Oversee quality assurance for both active and expired policies, endorsements, and related documentation.

• Prepare error-free submissions that convey coverage terms to underwriters under the guidance of brokers.

• Evaluate, analyze, and underwrite risks; assess submissions for premiums and terms; and determine exposures for new and renewal business quotes.

• Generate quotes and binders; manage new business processes to enhance revenue while ensuring retention and profitability.

• Provide excellent customer service during the marketing of new and renewal business to both underwriters and clients.

• Negotiate pricing and coverage conditions with underwriters.

• Relay corrections and clarifications in policy documents to both clients and underwriters.

• Cultivate collaborative relationships with clients, agents, and internal teams.

• Establish a network of industry contacts to expand the sales pipeline.

• Engage in professional development courses, obtain designations, and complete licensing programs.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business Administration, Sales, or Risk Management.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Wholesale brokerage, Commercial insurance coverages, Sales, or Underwriting is preferred.

• Consideration will be given to any other related disciplines or equivalent work experience.

• Must fulfill the minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses.

• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation is preferred.

• Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) certification is a plus.
