Associate Attorney – Silica Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee a designated caseload with partner collaboration

• Prepare pleadings, motions, and written discovery documents

• Conduct legal research and develop comprehensive legal analyses

• Take and defend depositions

• Engage in mediations and arbitrations

• Interact directly with clients and insurance providers

• Work alongside a team of skilled litigators on intricate cases

⛳️ Requirements

• Active California bar license required

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in defense litigation

• Experience in depositions is mandatory

• Preference for experience in toxic tort, silica, asbestos, or product liability defense

• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities

• Capability to handle multiple deadlines and conflicting priorities

• A proactive approach and accountability for assignments

• Strong interpersonal skills and presentation abilities

• Experience with mediations or arbitrations is advantageous
