
Associate Attorney β General Liability, Insurance Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Oversee a varied caseload from start to finish, offering strategic legal guidance and representation in court, arbitration, and depositions.
β’ Conduct file reviews and legal analyses of claims and causes of action.
β’ Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate documents.
β’ Frequently represent clients in court, during arbitrations, and in depositions.
β’ Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
β’ Engage in expert witness retention and collaboration.
β’ Prepare for and attend trials.
β’ Work closely with partners, clients, and stakeholders to provide strategic and practical legal advice.
β’ Manage deadlines and assignments with a strong sense of ownership and independence.
β’ J.D. from a law school accredited by the ABA.
β’ Active license to practice law in the specified state (required); additional bar admissions are a plus.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in the relevant practice area.
β’ Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
β’ Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
β’ Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
β’ Professional demeanor complemented by strong client relations and communication skills.
β’ Must be organized and responsive, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
