This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
β’ The Associate is responsible for accurately preparing, arriving punctually, and effectively managing court appearances that are reasonably accessible within travel distance.
β’ The Associate must review and appropriately request coverage for all court calls in which another Associate will not attend.
β’ The Associate may be tasked with drafting, reviewing, and filing necessary motions throughout the litigation process.
β’ The Associate may also need to prepare for trials and arbitrations as required.
β’ The Associate is expected to communicate with consumers, their employers, and their attorneys as needed to resolve accounts or lawsuits.
β’ Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada. Additional licenses in other states (SC, IA, MO, KS, IL, NY, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NC) are a plus.
β’ Must be comfortable appearing in court and consistently able to arrive on time using your own mode of transportation.
β’ Willingness to travel is necessary; the firm will reimburse travel expenses according to IRS mileage rates, and other approved travel costs will be reimbursed in the subsequent pay period after submission for reimbursement.
β’ Strong multi-tasking abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for managing a high volume caseload.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
