Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage a substantial and varied caseload for the Firm’s clients in Virginia.

• Engage with clients regarding their individual cases.

• Prepare pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and agreements.

• Interact with opposing parties to negotiate or resolve claims.

• Perform legal research on both straightforward and intricate issues in contract law and other consumer law areas.

• Travel for court appearances while primarily working remotely.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently licensed to practice law in Virginia.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to adhere to strict deadlines.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and staff at all levels.

• Proficient legal research capabilities.

• Familiarity with LexisNexis is advantageous.

• Must reside in or be within a commutable distance to Fairfax, Virginia.
