This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Overseeing and managing a substantial and varied caseload of the Firm’s clients located in Kansas.
• Engaging in communication with clients concerning their individual cases.
• Preparing legal documents including pleadings, motions, and memoranda, as well as reviewing and drafting contracts.
• Interacting with opposing parties to negotiate and settle claims.
• Conducting legal research pertaining to both straightforward and intricate issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law.
• Although this position is primarily remote, occasional travel for court appearances may be necessary.
• Current admission to practice law in Kansas is required (admission in multiple states is a significant advantage).
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a law firm setting.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to adhere to tight deadlines.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to collaborate effectively with senior management and staff at all levels within the organization.
• Proficient legal research skills; familiarity with LexisNexis is an added benefit.
