Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and managing a substantial and varied caseload of the Firm’s clients located in Illinois.

• Engaging with clients concerning their individual cases.

• Preparing pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and reviewing and drafting agreements, among other tasks.

• Liaising with opposing parties to negotiate or settle claims.

• Conducting legal research on both simple and complex matters in contract law and various areas of consumer law.

• This position is primarily remote; however, travel will be necessary for court appearances.

• Must currently hold a license to practice law in Illinois.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a law firm setting.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to adhere to tight deadlines.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and a capacity to collaborate effectively with senior management and staff at all levels within the organization.

• Proficient legal research skills; familiarity with LexisNexis is advantageous.
