Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and managing a substantial and varied caseload of the Firm’s clients in California.

• Engaging with clients regarding their specific legal matters.

• Preparing pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and reviewing and drafting agreements, among other documents.

• Liaising with opposing parties to negotiate and settle claims.

• Conducting legal research on both simple and complex issues pertaining to contract law and other facets of consumer law.

• Although this position is primarily remote, travel may be necessary for court appearances.

• Must currently hold a license to practice law in California.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a law firm setting.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to adhere to strict deadlines.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to collaborate effectively with senior management and staff at all levels of the organization.

• Proficient legal research skills; familiarity with LexisNexis is advantageous.
